JAKARTA, 14 June 2025 – PT GoTo Gojek Tokopedia Tbk (GoTo or GoTo Group), Indonesia’s largest digital ecosystem, is awarding more than 40,000 of its Gojek and GoPay ecosystem partners. Now in its sixth year, Mitra Juara Gojek & GoPay aims to provide the highest honor and recognition of service quality for driver-partners and merchants, including micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs), who have demonstrated exceptional productivity and service, and contributed meaningfully to the national economy.
The winners set the highest industry benchmarks, exemplifying how the GoTo ecosystem empowers progress by increasing income opportunities, scaling businesses, and improving the welfare of millions, while offering partners the flexibility they value. The Mitra Juara Gojek & GoPay title is expected to motivate partners to strive for continued excellence and to inspire millions of other partners across Indonesia.
Patrick Walujo, CEO of GoTo, said, “Behind every GoTo ride, meal, delivery, or payment are hardworking partners who serve with pride and sincerity. More than just an award, Mitra Juara Gojek & GoPay serves as a reminder that driver-partners and merchants are key to GoTo’s shared success, playing a vital role in advancing Indonesia’s economy. Through this initiative, we hope to send a clear message: GoTo is committed to improving the welfare of our partners, protecting them, and listening to their needs. Mitra Juara Gojek & GoPay returns this year on a grander and more inclusive scale, honoring the highest number of partners in the company’s history. From just a dozen awardees last year, the initiative now recognizes over 40,000 Gojek driver-partners, GoFood merchants and GoPay merchants from across Indonesia for their outstanding service.
This year also marks the first time that thousands of GoPay Merchant application users and MOKA merchants are being recognized for their valuable contributions to advancing financial inclusion in Indonesia through digital payments. Winners were assessed based on comprehensive performance-based metrics including acceptance rates, supply hours and business growth, as well as non-performance-based contributions including community and collaborative initiatives.
The award categories include:
-
30 top performing partners from across Gojek, GoFood and GoPay;
-
14 awards recognizing outstanding partner communities; and
-
Recognition for an additional 40,000 Gojek driver-partners, GoFood merchants and GoPay merchants
Thirty of the top performing winners will receive precious metals while the best partner community will receive an assistance fund as a token of appreciation from GoTo. In addition, GoTo will also award the best merchants with business capital support, and outstanding driver-partners with electric motorcycles from MAKA Motors.
MAKA Cavalry units from MAKA Motors serve as a token of appreciation for the dedication of Gojek driver-partners, who play a vital role in the daily mobility of millions. This initiative reflects MAKA Motors' commitment, as a proudly Indonesian company, to supporting the efficiency and well-being of these everyday heroes.
Appreciation That Builds Community
The Mitra Juara Gojek & GoPay awards culminated in a vibrant festival, a full-day celebration featuring award ceremonies, live performances, and food and beverages from some of the top GoFood and GoPay merchants. The festival, held at Indonesia Arena, welcomed thousands of GoTo’s driver-partners and merchants – all attending free of charge.
To maximize public recognition for their contributions, Gojek and GoPay will feature the winners across various channels. This includes online badges on the Gojek app marked “Champion Partner”, social media campaigns highlighting winners’ inspiring stories, and physical tokens of recognition that partners can display in their vehicles and business premises.
