Gojek to Implement 8% Commission Rate for Two-Wheel Passenger Transport Service (GoRide) Starting July 1, 2026

Jakarta, 24 June 2026 – PT GoTo Gojek Tokopedia Tbk (IDX: GOTO), the parent company of Gojek, announced that it will implement an 8% commission rate for its two-wheel passenger transport service, GoRide, effective July 1, 2026.
The announcement was made during a press conference on June 23 attended by Deputy Speakers of the House of Representatives (DPR) Sufmi Dasco Ahmad and Cucun Ahmad Syamsurijal, following President Prabowo Subianto’s directive issued on May 1 aimed at improving the welfare of online transportation drivers.
Sufmi Dasco Ahmad, Deputy Speaker of the DPR, said“The implementation of a commission scheme for two-wheel ride-hailing services is a policy that drivers have long been waiting for. The DPR remains committed to supporting the long-standing aspirations of ride-hailing drivers, in line with President Prabowo’s commitment to improving their welfare.”
Speaking at the same event, Catherine Hindra Sutjahyo, Deputy CEO of GoTo, said, “Starting July 1, 2026, Gojek will implement an 8% commission rate for GoRide, our two-wheel passenger transport service. This reflects our commitment to supporting efforts to improve the welfare of driver-partners.”
The implementation of the new revenue-sharing scheme will present challenges for the company’s two-wheel mobility business. As such, adjustments must be carefully managed by balancing several interconnected priorities: maintaining earning opportunities for driver partners, ensuring affordability for consumers, and preserving the long-term sustainability of the ecosystem.
Gojek will continue to coordinate with the government and relevant stakeholders to ensure the smooth implementation of the policy and to maximize its benefits for driver partners while maintaining a sustainable ecosystem for all parties.
