The Internal Audit Manager will be responsible for leading a team of business process auditors in the execution of the audit projects in the annual audit plan. The candidate will work closely with various departments to identify risks, evaluate internal controls, and develop audit requirements. This role requires strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a deep understanding of auditing standards and practices. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in internal auditing, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to lead and mentor a team of auditors. The Internal Audit Manager will also be responsible for preparing audit reports, presenting findings to senior management, and staying updated with the latest industry trends and regulations.
What You Will DoPlan and deliver internal audits of determined business area or department Performs audit work, including plan preparation, workpapers, finding, and associated reports Assess risk, suitability of controls, root cause of deficiencies and suggest relevant and cogent remediationLiaise and collaborate with other business leaders and governance teams in ERM, Ethics and Tech RisksPresent and discuss audit project matters with senior management team Support development of annual internal audit planProvide training to internal audit team to improve the team’s skillsetSupport other team members in various tasks as necessary What You Will NeedA bachelor’s degree and at least 9 years of experience. Previous Asst Mgr / Mgr experience in Internal Audit practice of accounting / advisory firm preferred. Relevant professional qualification in internal audit such as CIA or equivalent preferred.Experience in auditing basic business cycles, SOX, ERM and QAR. Strong understanding of audit methodology, control testing and root-cause analysis, audit project management and team supervisionDetailed oriented, hands-on in project execution and strong communication skillsExperience in internal audit quality assurance review is preferred. Ability to communicate (oral and written) English.
